"Being able to provide Project Night Night totes to the families that we
serve at Project Homeless Connect events is such a blessing. Children
leave the events with a smile on their face and excitement with an
assurance that they will have a happier night of sleep, no matter where
they rest their heads. PHC is lucky to have a relationship with Project
Night Night allowing us to provide something special to a child's
well-being."

My Story
I grew up in a very unstable environment. My father grew up in an
abusive home and wasn't able to stop the cycle. He was the
breadwinner and my mom didn't work much of my childhood because
childcare at that time was too costly. She stayed at home with us and
never had any of her own money. I remember many nights we had to
sneak out of the house while my dad was sleeping so my mom could
get a break from his wrath. We would often end up at my aunt's house
since there were no shelters and my mom never had money without
asking for it first. She would often rush us out of the house with
nothing but the pajamas on our backs. We didn't have time to grab
our favorite blanket or
toy and even left essential medications at home. I wish there had
been an organization that provided comfort items when I was very
unsure of what would happen next.
I am so thankful that an organization like Project Night Night exists.
The Night Night Packages are a vital part of providing comfort and
security to children who have been in situations that no child should
have to go through. I am glad that in their time of need they can count
on the loving people at Project Night Night to help make their
situation a little brighter.

"To see a child who has been put down smile again is wonderful. The
totes are so special, especially for a child who does not feel that way.
The Night Night Packages from Project Night Night make the shelter
residents and their children feel so important.."
Deb Williamson, Shelter Manager, Bedford Domestic Violence Solutions
"We received the Night Night Packages, and they were very much
appreciated. Such beautiful gifts and blankets! Again, we thank you
